McMaster men's basketball issued forfeiture
Burlington, Ont. – Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced today that the McMaster Marauders men’s basketball team played an ineligible student-athlete in two games during the 2022-23 season, on January 18th and January 21st, respectively.
The result of the January 18th game versus Brock will remain a 69-76 loss. However, a forfeiture will be issued to McMaster for their January 21st game against Algoma, with the score being changed to a 0-20 loss for the Marauders. All team and player statistics will remain in place for this game.
Changes to the aforementioned results have been reflected in the overall standings.
