C.H.A.M.P. Awards

Awarded to a championship host that provided a winning experience for student-athletes and fans. The host went above and beyond to establish an engaging atmosphere and memorable banner season event.

Awarded to a high-quality photograph that best captured a must-see moment from an OUA sport offering, displaying impressive action and/or emotion therein.

Awarded to a video that creatively captures and compiles in-depth content to tell a unique story of a student-athlete, team, or other varsity-related component. Feature must consist of at least one episode that is a minimum of 10 minutes in length.

Awarded to a short video designed as a hype, opener, teaser, or marketing campaign that could be used in a variety of ways, ranging from in-venue, social media, or webcasting.

Awarded to a school that consistently executes a high-quality online stream, successfully managing the elements of a top-tier broadcast (i.e., cameras, announcers, graphics, etc.) from event to event.

Awarded to a play-by-play or colour commentator who best captures the sporting event he/she/they are calling. The announcer not only has an understanding of the sport, but of the two participating teams and their respective student-athletes.

Awarded to a specific school-based social media account that provides a creative, informative, and overall appealing online outlet to engage their fan base through images, videos, written content, and/or any additional online content types. 

Awarded to a school that hosts the best all-around theme night at a varsity event. From concept to event execution, the host delivers a memorable experience. 

Awarded to a school mascot that best represents their institution through a variety of creative activations, including but not limited to in-event appearances, fan and stakeholder engagement, and an active online presence.

Awarded to a school's fan base that consistently demonstrated their support, allegiance, and passion in various ways for their varsity program(s) both on and beyond campus.
