Playoff Format

Playoff Composition: Upon the completion of the regular seasion, 12 teams will advance to the postseason. Divisional winners are guaranteed a top-four seed, ensuring them a first round bye, but not necessarily a top-three position. Remaining seeds will be ordered based on winning percentage. As a result, a team who did not win their division, but has a higher winning percentage than one of the divisional winners could move into a top-three position. 

Tiebreakers: Any ties will be resolved according to the OUA General Tie-breaking Procedures (pg 13-14).

Format: Postseason matchups will take place in a straight bracket format with no re-seeding. All postseason matchups will be single games, wherein the higher seed hosts.
