Gryphons Uddenberg tabbed as top 2022 Milk2Go Sport brand ambassador
An award-winning member of the Gryphons women's soccer team, Uddenberg wanted to take part in the program to "share creative content that could relate to other student-athletes". She was joined by fellow Gryphon Kennedy Feasby, from the women's rugby team, and Angelina Markotic from Brock women's volleyball to make up this year's crop of Milk2Go Sport Brand Ambassadors.
The trio were tasked with using social media to share tips and activities to better one's physical and mental wellbeing. Across the eight-week program, the ambassadors used creative and engaging video content on social media to showcase beneficial exercises and stretches; fun ways to incorporate Milk2Go Sport into their training; and even a look into their daily routines.
Said Uddenberg, whose content often reflected the latter, one of the best parts of being an ambassador was that "it gave me the chance to share a few things that I do that help me throughout my daily routines, while studying and working hard in my sport".
Uddenberg's approach to her weekly posts appeared to resonate with her followers. When all was said and done, the second-year soccer standout, studying bio-medical science with a minor in neuro-science, tallied over 35,000 views on TikTok and nearly 8,000 impressions on Instagram across her ambassador content, marking the highest totals of any of this year's participants.
Finished Uddenberg, "I am thankful for the opportunity that Milk2Go Sport and the OUA have given me. It has allowed me to be creative, while sharing parts of my life as a student-athlete and connect with many other people involved in sports".
