By the Numbers: Soccer standouts steal the show
 - Week 7 (1).png)
50 - The Queen's women's rugby team put up a sparkling 125 points in their regular season finale against Trent on the weekend, but perhaps even more impressive is that 50 of them came from a single player. Lizzie Gibson, who was already pacing the conference pack in scoring heading into the Gaels' sixth game of the year, put forth her most productive outing of the year over the weekend thanks to her four tries and 15 conversions in the game.

42 - While the Golden Hawks have made headlines with their ground game and defence, a key member of the aerial attack has been turning heads as well. Ethan Jordan, who reeled in seven catches for 157 yards in the team's Week 7 win, continues to be a favourite target for QB Taylor Elgersma, so much so that the second-year receiver leads the nation with 42 receptions on the year.

13 - It didn't come without a strong challenge from the two-time defending champion Blues, but the Western Mustangs women's tennis team came away with the first banner of the OUA season following a nail-biting 4-3 win in Sunday's gold medal match. Carley Citron delivered the championship-clinching victory (7-5, 7-6), earning the London, Ont. squad's first title since 2018 and 13th overall in program history.

12 - Chris Campoli has been nothing short of spectacular for the Ridgebacks this season, and the team's tilt with nationally-ranked Carleton was no exception. The Ontario Tech all-time leader in goals added another two to his already impressive varsity résumé, the only two goals of the marquee matchup. His latest brace brings his season total to 12, which puts the third-year forward five goals clear of the next closest competitors.

10 - It was a weekend to remember for the RMC Paladins, as they picked up that elusive first win of the season in a 3-0 win over Trent. Not only was it a big day for the team, but for Colin Burnes as well. The rookie goalkeeper was busy against the Excalibur, but he managed to secure 10 saves en route to the first clean sheet of his career.

.800 - OUA baseball teams needed to be at their best over the weekend if they wanted a chance to play for the 2022 championship, and while several student-athletes stood out during their respective regionals, one of the hardest players to get out was Waterloo's Liam Sutherland. The senior outfielder went a sparkling 12-for-15 over the Warriors' four games, good for an .800 AVG, complete with a double, triple, eight RBIs, four runs, and three walks for the Far West Qualifier winners.
