OUA announces increase in AFA allocation
Burlington, Ont. - Ontario University Athletics (OUA) is pleased to announce a change in the OUA Athletic Financial Awards (AFA) Policy, effective for the 2023-24 season.
Following approval from the OUA's Board of Directors on November 17, 2022, student-athletes will be eligible to receive up to $5,000, an increase from the current $4,500 allocation. This increase in AFA, which is reflected in Section 9 of the OUA AFA Policy, will go into effect beginning with the 2023-24 allocation.
