By the Numbers: Collection of career bests and career firsts

2011 - Heading into their game this past Sunday, it had been quite some time since the Windsor women's volleyball team got the better of the TMU Bold. In fact, the Lancers last win in the matchup came back on January 8, 2011, but that all changed on their home court this weekend, when they took down TMU in a four-set win anchored by a strong showing from third-year outside hitter Yaila Sealy.

60 - It was a remarkable match between Brock and Waterloo's women's volleyball teams on Friday night, and a big reason the reigning champs came away victorious in five sets was the play of Sara Rohr. The Badgers' setter produced a career-night to hand the Warriors their first loss of the season, racking up a personal-best 60 assists and helping her to sit atop the conference with 10.77 assists per set this year.

27 - Guelph women's basketball standout MacKeely Shantz helped lead her Gryphons to a 10-point win on Saturday against York, putting up a career-best scoring mark in the process. The senior guard netted 27 points for her side in the win to set a new personal best, an effort that not only helped Guelph maintain their unblemished record early on, but also place her third amongst the OUA scoring leaders with 20.8 PPG overall.

18 - A key figure for the Gaels' undefeated start to the women's basketball season, Julia Chadwick continued to shine for Queen's in their toughest test to date. Facing off against Carleton on Friday in a matchup between two unbeaten, nationally-ranked squads, Chadwick anchored the Tricolour in more ways than one. In the 71-65 Queen's win, the fifth-year forward chipped in with a game-high 18 points and game-high 18 rebounds for the lofty double-double.

1 - It was a night to remember for Sam Gillis on Saturday against Nipissing, as the rookie forward was the star in Ontario Tech's one-goal win. Not only did Gillis net his first OUA goal for the Ridgebacks to open the team's scoring, but he would go on to light the lamp twice more after that, including the game-winner with just over five minutes left in the third period, to cap off the night with his first career hat trick as well.

.967 - It was a tough task to put the puck past Mark Grametbauer this weekend, as his stellar play on back-to-back nights was instrumental in a pair of Carleton wins. Saving 58 of 60 shots across the two games, the Ravens netminder gave up just one goal in each of his team's victories - including a 37-save outing on Saturday against RMC, and produced a sparkling .967 save percentage across the two games.
