Golden Hawks’ Hauck earns OUA Peak Performer of the Week
Burlington, Ont. – Christian Hauck has been named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Peak Performer of the Week for the period ending September 15, 2019.

Christian Hauck was firing on all cylinders in his start this week for the purple and gold, anchoring Laurier to a big win against a key rival.
In the team’s game against Toronto – a rematch of the last two OUA championship games – it was the pitching prowess of Hauck that guided the reigning champions to victory. Hauck tossed a complete game for the Hawks and was in control throughout. Not only did Hauck shut out the Varsity Blues over his seven innings, but did so by limiting them to just a solitary hit.
To top off his sizzling start, the fifth-year hurler took matters largely into his own hands, collecting 15 of the possible 21 outs via the strikeout en route to the 4-0 win.
