Varsity Blues So earns OUA Peak Performer of the Week
Burlington, Ont. – Bethany So has been named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Peak Performer of the Week for the period ending March 1, 2020.

Seasoned veteran Bethany So earned her fourth-straight OUA women’s most valuable player honour in leading the Varsity Blues badminton team to the 2020 provincial banner on home court this past weekend.
The fourth-year medical student from Toronto went a perfect 5-0 over the three-day tournament, helping the Blues capture their fifth-straight OUA title. Not only did So shine bright in single, turning in three wins in a spotless solo performance, but she also added on a pair of victories in mixed doubles play, making her a perfect 5-0 for the weekend. With her latest results in tow, So’s streak of undefeated play on the banner season stage has now reached four straight years.
To round out her decorated weekend, So was also named an OUA all-star for the seventh consecutive season.
