OUA, Mikasa continue long-standing partnership
Burlington, Ont. – Ontario University Athletics (OUA) is pleased to announce that Mikasa will be the official volleyball of OUA Men’s and Women’s Volleyball for the 2019-2020 season, beginning on October 25th.
“Mikasa is the leader in volleyball and we are thrilled to use the best match ball on the market,” said Gord Grace, CEO of OUA. “Our partnership is entering its 12th season and our athletes and coaches continue to tell us that they prefer using the Mikasa ball for competition play.”
In addition to the OUA at the provincial level, many National and International organizations are using Mikasa as their official volleyball, including FIVB, Volleyball Canada, and U SPORTS, as well as the 2020 Olympics.
“Mikasa is proud to continue its relationship with preeminent sport in Canada with the OUA. As a National and International supplier of volleyballs, it is only fitting since these two organizations are at the pinnacle of their fields,” said Felix Dion, owner of Catsports, and official distributor of Mikasa Canada.
The MVA200 will be used during all regular season, playoff, and championship matches for Men’s and Women’s OUA volleyball.
The championship matches for the Men’s Forsyth Cup and Women’s Quigley Cup are scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, 2020.
