Offence continues to roll in win over McMaster

As he's done all season long, Adika Peter-McNeilly had another big night for the Rams with a team-high 23 points along with six rebounds and two assists to lead the way. Myles Charvis, back after sitting out last weekend's game against Waterloo, was crafty in the back court, dishing for nine assists.
The Rams used a 27 point first quarter to set the tone for the night and led by ten after ten minutes. That lead was never in danger, and grew to 12 at the half.
In the third the Rams started to break down the McMaster defence using the fast break and the Marauders couldn't keep up with the pace. Ryerson piled up 31 more points in the frame to blow the game open at 79-54 heading to the fourth.
Already leading by 25 points, Peter-McNeilly saved a ball on the sideline by hopping the signage and court side seats and tossing it right to a waiting Manny Diressa who proceeded to drive the open lane for an easy bucket. From there the Rams were able to empty their bench and close out the 22 point victory.
McMaster's Connor Gilmore had a game-high 30 points in the loss but the Rams were able to shut down the rest of the Marauders and hold their opponents to just 35.4% from the field. Ryerson, meanwhile, shot 46.2%.
Ryerson improves their record to 13-0 while McMaster drops to an even .500 at 7-7. The Rams return to action on Friday night when they travel to St. Catharines to take on the No. 6 ranked Brock Badgers at the Meridian Centre.
