
Windsor wins bronze in overtime thriller to advance to CIS national championships
Windsor, ON – One minute away from elimination, the Windsor Lancer men's hockey team came from behind to defeat the McGill Redmen 2-1 in overtime on Saturday night at South Windsor Arena.
Windsor, ON – One minute away from elimination, the Windsor Lancer men's hockey team came from behind to defeat the McGill Redmen 2-1 in overtime on Saturday night at South Windsor Arena.
Ryan Green scored with just 1:01 left on the clock to send the game to OT, and then added the game winner late in the first overtime period to give Windsor the victory.
With the victory, the Lances receive the third OUA berth to the national championships next week in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
