Burke named OUA athlete of the week

Burlington, Ont. – Tatyanna Burke has been named OUA athlete of the week for the period ending December 8, 2024.

Burke continued her exceptional play to wrap up the 2024 edition of the OUA season, as she led the No. 4 ranked Carleton Ravens to an 81-59 victory over their cross-town rivals, the No. 1 ranked Ottawa Gee-Gees.

The fourth-year guard put up 23 points and recorded six rebounds in the contest. She was a perfect seven-for-seven from the free throw line and added an assist and two steals to round out her performance.

The Winona, Ont. product has scored double-digit points in five straight games to help the Ravens remain undefeated so far this season.
