Warriors finish fall with fast times at Western
A reduced squad of Waterloo's swim team headed into Western, where the OUA championship will be hosted in only nine weeks now. With exams looming the group looked to put themselves in some positive head space with good efforts.
Racing the top ranked Mustangs along with Laurier and Guelph there were good opportunities for the Warriors to succeed. Danyon Chu (Unionville) grabbed a couple of 2nd place finishes in the 50 free and 100 fly (lifetime best 57.99). Meaghen Vydelingum (Toronto) posted her best 200 fly of the fall season.
Tamara Shaw (Ottawa) showed that she is prepared to make a run at the CIS qualifying in the 50 free with a strong effort.
The Warriors don't race again until January 10th. Lots of training meters will be put in during the next few weeks as preparation.
