Bio

Dr. Steven Murphy is President and Vice Chancellor of Ontario Tech University, one of Ontario’s fastest-growing universities. Dr. Murphy is an award-winning professor, accomplished researcher, academic leader and board member of the National Research Council. Dr. Murphy previously served as a Dean of the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, Canada’s largest English-speaking business school, where he grew the co-op program significantly and transformed the school’s brand. 

He is nationally recognized expert in organizational behavior and accomplished researcher and presenter. Dr. Murphy published over 100 papers, book chapters and technical reports in his academic career. He is also a professor in the Faculty of Business and Information Technology at Ontario Tech.
