Badgers' Nolan named OUA Peak Performer, presented by IG Wealth Management

The Brock Badgers baseball team is rolling right now. The St. Catharines squad extended their winning streak to six games this weekend after a pair of victories over Ryerson, and helping the team to one of those wins was pitcher Alex Nolan, who proved to be a puzzle the Rams couldn’t solve on Sunday.

The media and communications student pitched a complete game shutout to lead the Badgers to a 4-0 victory on the road. The right-hander struck out 13 batters and allowed eight hits on the day. Even when the Burlington, Ont. native got into a little trouble, such as an eighth inning bases loaded jam, he was able to get out of it unscathed, demonstrating his dominance on the mound from the first pitch to the final out.
