"I am really excited and thankful for the opportunity to start my pro career in Wolfenbuettel," said Stratton. "I hope to make an immediate impact by bringing leadership and reliability to the club at the guard position."
This past February, Stratton (Etobicoke, Ont.) ended her five-year career as U of T's regular season career scoring leader with 1,245 points in the Blue and White. She was named an OUA all-star three times, while earning OUA East rookie of the year honours in 2010-11. That same season, Stratton was named a member of the CIS all-rookie team and was named the first-ever U of T female rookie of the year. She scored a career-high 30 points in an overtime game at Queen's this past season.
Stratton led Toronto for the third time in her career, ranking seventh in the province with 16.1 points and third with 9.1 rebounds per game. She also topped U of T with 59 assists and 42 steals in 2014-15.
Wolfenbuettel had a 15-7 record this past season, and finished third in the North conference of the Germany 2.Bundesliga. Wolfenbuettel would eventually go on to lose to the No. 2 Veilchen in the semifinals.
