University of Toronto water polo standout Daniel Ugray (Budapest, Hungary) has been selected as the OUA Peak Performer, presented by Investors Group, after he helped the Varsity Blues recapture the OUA banner this past weekend.
Ugray, a second-year international relations and economics major, co-led the Blues with three goals in a dominant 18-0 semifinal victory over the host Queen's Gaels in the semifinals on Saturday.
He followed that up on Sunday in the gold-medal match, scoring a game high four goals in a 7-0 victory over the Carleton Ravens to claim Toronto's second provincial title in the past three years.
The Varsity Blues have now won the OUA water polo championship 31 times in program history.
