Eric Flockhart (Mississauga, Ont.) – 3rd yr. – Laurier Golden Hawks – Golf
Laurier Golden Hawks golfer Eric Flockhart (Mississauga, Ont.) has been selected as the OUA Peak Performer, presented by Investors Group, after a pair of individual gold medals last week.
Flockhart, a third-year communications studies student-athlete, extended his winning streak to three OUA events after he tied for first at both the Guelph Invitational and the Toronto Invitational.
At the Guelph Invitational, the Mississauga, Ont. native shot a 1-under par 69 to tie for 1st and he followed that up at the Toronto Invitational, shooting a 1-under par 143 to also tie for 1st.
Flockhart is heating up at the right time as he heads to Windsor, Ont. on Sunday to compete in the OUA championship at the Ambassador Golf Club.
