Queen's Gaels Cross Country Tops U Sports Rankings for Second Consecutive Week
The top 10 rankings for U Sports return again this week with OUA teams dominating in cross country action. The Queen’s Gaels maintain their number 1 spot in the U Sports rankings, after another successful meet at the Western Invitational this past weekend. Thanks to a fantastic performance led by Branna MacDougall as she set a new course record with a 6km time of 20:45, the Gaels were able to secure their second team gold medal of the season.
The U Sports top 10 also includes three other OUA teams as they maintained their ranking after the weekend’s meet. Guelph retained their second place position, while Toronto and Western climbed the standings to the 3rd and 5th places respectively.
