TORONTO REMAINS UNDEFEATED
The No.6 Varsity Blues continued their winning ways after a four-set victory over the defending OUA Champion Lancers. Toronto’s Michelle Wood (Toronto, Ontario) would not let the ball touch the court with a game high 23 digs on the day, while first year teammate Dana Collins (Sudbury, Ontario) collected 44 assists. Windsor was led by veteran Bethany Petkoff (Hamilton, Ontario) who contributed 16 points, 11 kills and 7 digs on the day. With the win, Toronto improves to 12-0 on the season, while the rebuilding Lancers fall to 2-10.

Elizabeth Salas (Toronto, Ontario) had 16 kills to lead the York University Lions to a four game victory over the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees (24-26, 25-8, 25-19, 25-20). The loss is a costly one for the Gee-Gees (9-4), as the Lions (9-4) move ahead of Ottawa in the standings thanks to a greater number of points in head to head competition. Each team won on home court this season in four sets, but the Lions out-scored Ottawa 186-171 over the eight sets giving York the upper hand in the race for home-court advantage in the playoffs.
