OTTAWA STAYS UNDEFEATED WITH WIN OVER GAELS
Fourth-year outside hitter Christine Lamey (Kanata, Ontario) had 20 kills and 21 digs, while third-year outside hitter Karine Gagnon (Granby, Quebec) recorded a career best 16 kills and 16 digs as the ninth-ranked Ottawa outlasted Queen's in a five-setter (22-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12, 15-10). Lamey added a pair of service aces and a stuff block for a team-high 23 points, while fourth-year setter Laura Simons (London) chipped in with 55 assists. Fourth-year right side Rachel Runnels (Ottawa) added six kills, three aces and 17-digs for the winning side.
