Emily Jago (Sudbury, Ont.) – 5th yr. – Laurentian Voyageurs – Rowing
Laurentian Voyageurs Emily Jago (Sudbury, Ont.) has been selected as the OUA Peak Performer, presented by Investors Group, after a successful showing at the Head of the Trent regatta.
Jago, a fifth-year rower who is currently completing her Masters - Human Kinetics, won gold in the W1x and silver in the W2x with teammate Hayley Chase this past weekend in Peterborough, Ont.
Head of the Trent is an annual regatta held on the historic Trent Severn waterway.
After a Thanksgiving break, Jago and the Voyageurs will return to the water on Oct. 15 in St. Catharines, Ont. where they'll be competing in the Brock Invitational regatta.
