ZEEMAN NAMED TO VOLLEYBALL CANADA NATIONAL B TEAM
The announcement was made last week in conjunction with the naming of men's senior national team following the selection camp held May 9 to 14 in Gatineau, Que.
In his three years at Queen's, Zeeman has quickly established him as one of the top players in all of Canada. The two-time CIS all-Canadian finished the 2009-10 season fourth in the nation in kills per set with 4.1 and four in points per set with 4.9.
"All of us at Queen's are extremely proud of Joren," said Gaels head coach Brenda Willis. "His progress from first year to third has been exceptional. He has worked very hard to get to this level and I believe he has the ability to take his game quite a bit further. He is maturing into a great player and leader and the experience he is gaining will benefit our whole program."
