MUSTANGS WOMEN WIN WINDSOR INVITATIONAL
Mustangs rookie Hilary Bennett finished in a tie for third place with teammate Caitlin Jennings shooting 90, five shots behind the winner.
"They were so happy and delighted. It was such a slug fest yesterday," said coach Sue Postian. "I was watching them and they felt like they were doing terrible... it so was windy."
They played long yardage yesterday, Postian said, making it even more challenging to produce under pressure.
"It was a good first start and the girls are very happy," Postian said. "They're just delighted."
Western has won all three OUA women's golf titles since competition began in 2005.
