2012 ONTARIO VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
TORONTO – For the fifth year running, the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) will be hosting
the 2012 Ontario Volleyball Championships at RIM Park Sportsplex in Waterloo, Ontario
beginning March 30, 2012.
The tournament will take place over three (3) weekends, and will feature over 500 teams from
across the province. The Championships are the largest volleyball competition in Ontario, and
the largest Provincial Volleyball Championship of its kind in Canada, with the OVA anticipating
that upwards of 19,500 athletes, coaches and spectators will participate in these showcase
events. The Championships will include six (6) different age brackets, ranging from 13 & Under
to 18 & Under, competing on 24 courts under one roof at RIM Park.
WHEN: March 30 - April 1, 2012: 13U & 16U Girls beginning at 8:00am
(Note: 13U is a two-day event only – Saturday & Sunday)
April 13 - 15, 2012: 15U & 17U Girls and Boys beginning at 8:00am
April 20 - 22, 2012: 14U & 18U Girls and Boys, 16U Boys beginning at 8:00am
Award Ceremonies will take place in the afternoon of each Championship Sunday.
