RMC ATHLETE READY TO SET NEW OUA SCORING RECORD
The OUA career scoring record is currently held by Laurentian University's Norm Hann (1723 points, 1989-93). Dulude begins the upcoming season with 1696 career points, 27 shy of the OUA mark.
During the 2003-04 season, Dulude averaged 21.0 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. These scores ranked him 2nd in OUA and 6th in Canadian Interuniversity Sports (CIS) for scoring and 1st in the OUA and 2nd in CIS for rebounds. Due his outstanding performance, Dulude was named CIS 1st Team All-Canadian, the first RMC athlete to ever be named a university sport All-Canadian. Dulude was also named OUA East Player of the Year.
Dulude is widely recognized as one of the top performers in university basketball over the past four seasons. To produce an athlete of this caliber is rare in an institution such as RMC with a relatively small population of approximately 900 students.
At RMC, Dulude was named recipient of the Tommy Smart Cup as Male Athlete of the Year for four consecutive years. He is the only RMC athlete ever to win this award more than twice.
Hailing from Orleans Ont., Dulude also broke the OUA career rebounding mark of 849 held by Tim Mau of Guelph University (1989-93) near the end of the 2003-04 season. His record total currently stands at 930 rebounds.
