KINGSTON, Ont. (Aug. 23, 2023) Queen's Women's Soccer takes on Toronto in the opening match of the season on Thursday afternoon at 4:00pm.
While the ball stayed on Toronto's side of the field majority of the first half, the game remained scoreless until #17

Going into halftime, the Gaels were leading the Varsity Blues with a score of 1-0. The second half was full of great plays, as Queen's came in hot with some more shots on net.

The Gaels finished the game 2-0, recording 15 shots, 6 of which were on goal. In comparison, Toronto recorded only 3 shots, 2 being on goal. With the win, Queen's starts the season off with a record of 1-0-0.
Queen's is back in action on Sunday, September 3 against the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks at Richardson Stadium.
