Blues come up big versus Marauders
The University of Toronto Varsity Blues baseball team defeated the McMaster Marauders 9-2 and 7-3 on Wednesday, October 1 at Dan Lang Field.
The University of Toronto Varsity Blues baseball team defeated the McMaster Marauders 9-2 and 7-3 on Wednesday, October 1 at Dan Lang Field.
In the first game of the day, pitcher Colin Edwards led the way, allowing only two runs and three hits in eight innings of work. Kyle Bowers and Adam Odd both had doubles, while Odd, Bradley Bedford, Tanner Young-Schultz and Jonathan Sartor all had one RBI in the win.
Daniel Connolly pitched six innings in the second game for the Blues. Chris Nolfi notched a triple and Odd added two RBI in the victory.
The Varsity Blues return to action this Saturday, October 4 as they host the Western Mustangs at Dan Lang Field.
