Cancer affects the lives of millions of people around the world. It can happen to anyone, and is life-changing for everyone who has been impacted. Whether on the bases or in the outfield, his ability to run made him a difference-maker on the field. In July of 2017, his life would change forever, as he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 21. Instead of stepping into a starting role and going to battle with his Warrior teammates, "OC" was forced to fight a much more significant battle.
