Sault Youth Soccer Club Helps to Make Algoma University the Next Step in Local Soccer
(SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont): The Sault Youth Soccer Club is the leading soccer program in Sault Ste. Marie for those ages 5 - 18. Every year, nearly 1600 young athletes join their program to play the sport they love. Local athletes in the Sault Youth program can now pursue their craft at post-secondary institutions across Canada (and beyond our border). The Sault Youth Soccer Club has established a new bursary award which will encourage students who graduate from the Sault Youth Soccer programs to take their passion and skills to the OUA (Ontario University Athletics) level and represent Algoma University. This bursary will benefit up to five players a year and give them up to $1,500 to help pay for their education and related expenses.
