NORTH BAY, Ont. – After an opening weekend split, the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks will hope to do the same tomorrow after falling 1-0 to the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday afternoon.
The Lakers dominated their home opener, outshooting the Ridgebacks 10-3 in the contest.
Their lone goal in the match came in the 58
th minute from Zoe Derkach, assisted by Madison Logan.
Alicia Chisholm (Woodbridge, Ont.) made nine saves in the loss for Ontario Tech, while Mykaela Volpe.
Sunday afternoon the Ridgebacks face the Laurentian Voyageurs. Kick off in Sudbury is scheduled for 12 p.m.
