Ryerson's Brooke Pearson and RMC's Maddie Leavitt picked up their first career yellow cards late in the first half.
The game was scoreless after 45 minutes.
RMC keeper Claudia Rusu made 13 saves in the loss, bringing her weekend total to 21.
Ryerson's Sierra Clancy scored the only goal of the game, her first of the year.
RMC will be back in Kingston next weekend, when they host UOIT (6-3-2) and Trent (2-6-3).
