Toronto, ON - RMC (0-8-1) fell 1-0 in a close road game to the Toronto Varsity Blues (4-4-2) on Saturday afternoon after allowing an early goal.
Toronto's Natasha Klasios scored her fourth goal of the year early in the match off a free kick.
RMC's chances were turned aside by Toronto keeper Vanna Staggolis.
RMC was down just 1-0 after 45 minutes.
Claudia Rusu stopped all four shots she faced in the second half, finishing the game with eight saves for RMC.
As the game ended, Toronto's Erin Kelly picked up her first yellow card of the year.
The Paladins will look to rebound from Saturday's 1-0 loss in another road game against Ryerson (1-4-5) on Sunday.
