Box Score The No. 2 nationally ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the West division leading Western Mustangs 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 26-24) on Friday night (Feb. 19) at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

With the win, the Blues improve to 18-0, last dropping a set on Oct. 31 to the Queen's Gaels. Toronto looks to complete the perfect season in their final regular season home game versus the Windsor Lancers tomorrow night at 6 p.m.

Fourth-year left side hitter Caleigh Cruickshank notched a game-high 15 points with 12 kills, three blocks and seven digs, while rookie right side Alina Dormann had 12 points on eight kills, three aces and one block. Third-year middle Tessa Davis notched eight kills and 3.5 blocks, while Anna Feore had nine kills and 13 digs on the night.

Fourth-year setter Madelyn Mandryk tallied 34 assists and 14 digs, while veteran libero Denise Wooding earned player of the match honours with a game-high 21 digs in the victory.

Kelsey Veltman led the Mustangs with 12 points in the loss.

Toronto will also honour four graduating athletes in a special pre-game ceremony tomorrow night.Â
