OSHAWA, Ont. – Natalie Wozney (Whitby, Ont.) got redemption in overtime as the Ontario Tech women's hockey team won 2-1 over the Laurentian Voyageurs on Saturday.
Wozney had a penalty shot early in the game in the first period, but after being stopped by Danielle Toland, the Voyageurs eventually held their 1-0 lead until the final five minutes of regulation.
Her power play goal in overtime was her team-leading sixth of the year.
Next weekend the team hits the road to face the Windsor Lancers and Western Mustangs.
