TROIS-RIVIÈRES, Que. – Saturday was the Mr. Hyde to a Jekyll and Hyde weekend for the UOIT men's hockey team.
After a 4-3 opening win against the UQTR Patriotes, the Ridgebacks fell 7-1 to UQTR on Saturday afternoon.
The loss ends the Ridgebacks four-game win streak against the Patriotes.
UOIT will look to get back in the win column for their second annual Blue and White Night against the rival Queen's Gaels on Thursday. Puck drop is slated for 7:30 p.m.

Mike Robinson (Stouffville, Ont.) scored the lone UOIT goal in the second period. His tally cut the UQTR lead to 3-1.
• The Patriotes had a pair of goals by Elie Berube and Chirstophe Boivin,
• Mathieu Lemay and Deven St-Hilaire scored their individual tallies within 14 second of each other in the second period to give their team a 5-1 lead after Robinson's goal. Guillaume Bergeron-Charron rounded out the Patriotes scoring.

Michael Bullion (Anchorage, Alaska) had a rough start for UOIT, allowing three goals on six Patriotes shots over 7:32.

Brendan O'Neill (Ilderton, Ont.) made 19 saves on 23 shots to finish the game.
• Getting redemption for the opening loss of the weekend, Sebastien Auger made 34 saves in UQTR's victory.
