The third-year Psychology major scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed two rebounds in helping the No. 8 Laurier Golden Hawks pull off a 60-53 road upset of the No. 1 Windsor Lancers on Saturday afternoon.
Schenck’s 19 points tied her season high against an OUA opponent. She scored 13 of her 19 points in the second half with the game on the line, including draining two three-pointers in the final four minutes of play. On Friday, she also contributed in her team’s 75-49 win against the Western Mustangs, scoring six points to go along with three rebounds.
On the season, Schenck is averaging a career-best 11.3 points per game and is shooting 80.4% from the free-throw line.
