The Ridgebacks made a late push looking for the equalizer and controlled the flow of the game for the final ten minutes. In injury time off a corner kick, Mitchell Hunt (Bowmanville, Ont) attempted to get his head on the loose ball but Queen's keeper Taylor Reynolds got his hands on it to return it to safety.
Travis Martin (Whitby, Ont.) made five stops in the losing effort.

Lions put five goals past Warriors in convincing win
The No. 3 nationally-ranked York University Lions men's soccer team cleaned up at the Warrior Field on Friday night (Oct. 16) with a convincing 5-0 victory over the Waterloo Warriors in their final road game of the regular season.
The full 90 minutes saw the Lions in the Warriors half with a total of 19 shots off in comparison to the Warriors' one shot.
Opening the scoring early in the 13th minute was Jarek Whiteman (Brampton, Ont.), who received the ball off of a tasteful back-heeled pass from Jonathan Lao (Unionville, Ont.) and buried the ball in the back of the net to put the Lions up 1-0.
Then to close off the first half, Dena Iezady (Richmond Hill, Ont.) upped the score to 2-0 with a quick combination play between the Lions' midfield line to score in the 41st minute.
Coming into the second half, the Lions were quick to strike with a third goal thanks to Michael Cox (Calgary). Beating the goalkeeper to the ball off of another assist from Lao, Cox was able to slip the ball past the Waterloo keeper in the 47th minute.
Then later in the 70th minute Whiteman was back in the Warriors' half for another goal. Skillfully receiving a long-ranged diagonal ball on his chest, Whiteman swiveled his hips and hit the ball off the volley to secure a 4-0 lead.
To close off the game, the Lions were able to squeeze in another goal to make it 5-0 from a Ryan Telfer's (Mississauga, Ont.) goal in the 88th minute.
The Lions will now be preparing to take on the Western Mustangs on home turf on Sunday (Oct. 18). Kick-off will be at 3:15pm.
