QUEEN'S PLAYER NAMED TO CANADA'S U-20 M-RUGBY TEAM

VICTORIA, B.C. - Rugby Canada announced that Queen's Gaels men's rugby player Chris Barrett (Vancouver, B.C.) has been selected to represent Canada during the under-20 tour of New Zealand. The tour will run from March 6 to 14 with Canada playing three games.
Barrett tallied 29 points with the Gaels which ranked him third on the Gaels squad in total points. During the regular season he recorded five tries and helped Queen's to an undefeated 5-0-1 record. Barrett also scored all 10 of the Gaels points in the OUA championship game against McMaster.
Canada departs for New Zealand on Feb. 28, opening the tour against the Wellington Development Team on March 6. On March 11, Canada then faces Taranaki Development team before wrapping up against Hawkes Bay in Napier on March 14.
