HAWKS GOLDEN AGAINST LANCERS IN M-RUGBY

WATERLOO, Ont. - The Windsor Lancers men’s rugby team was defeated by the Laurier Golden Hawks 71-7 yesterday afternoon in Waterloo. The loss drops the Lancers record to 1-3 on the season.
Leading the way for the Golden Hawks was third year winger James Stewart (Mississauga, Ont.), who recorded two tries and four converts, good for 18 of his team’s 71 points. Laurier had seven other players record tries in the victory.
The lone points for the Lancers were scored by Steve Young (Oil City, Ont.), who recorded a try and a convert.
