Lancers double up Lions 4-2 to force Game 3
TORONTO, Ont. - The Lancer men's hockey team doubled up on the host York Lions on Friday night with a 4-2 win in game two of the Western Conference Finals at the Canlon Ice Sports.

TORONTO, Ont. - The Lancer men's hockey team doubled up on the host York Lions on Friday night with a 4-2 win in game two of the Western Conference Finals at the Canlon Ice Sports.
The win forces game three Saturday night at 7:00pm. The winner of the series heads to the Queen's Cup championship and secures their spot at the U SPORTS National Championships hosted by the University of New Brunswick.
York opened the scoring early on with a goal from Bryce Milson. Dylan Seguin tied the game at one for the Lancers at 14:30 of the opening period. Assists were credited to Mike Christou and captain Blake Blondeel.
Sebastian Beauregard scored the lone goal of the middle frame to give Windsor a 2-1 lead heading into the third period.
In the third, Seguin was dragged down on a breakaway and awarded a penalty shot at 4:57 which he converted into a two goal lead for the Blue & Gold.
The Lions brought the game within one with 2:07 left in regulation, but an empty net goal in the at 19:32 secured the win to keep the Lancers alive in the series.
