Top Canadian basketball coaches Dave DeAveiro and James Derouin lead Team Red and Team White, respectively, in this showcase game at the University of Toronto's Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport that spotlights the next generation of Canadian basketball stars.
Team Red
Head Coach: Dave DeAveiro
DeAveiro has been the head coach of the McGill University men's basketball team since 2010 and has won six conference Coach of the Year awards in his career. DeAveiro's teams have made a combined six appearances in the CIS Final Eight championship tournament. He also serves as head coach of Canada Basketball's U16/17 National Team, leading Team Canada to a historic silver medal at the 2015 FIBA Americas, qualifying them for the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships.
Assistant Coach: Paul Melnik
Melnik is the senior boys' basketball head coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Toronto's Father Henry Carr Catholic School, where he coached Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Ennis. Paul led Father Henry Carr to their first OFSAA Championship this past season.
Team White
Head Coach: James Derouin
Derouin has been the head coach and program manager at the University of Ottawa since 2010, and was named CIS Coach of the Year in 2014-15. Under his direction, the team has captured three CIS medals: two silver (2014, 2015) and one bronze (2013). He also serves as an assistant coach of Canada Basketball's U16/17 National Team, leading Team Canada to a historic silver medal at the 2015 FIBA Americas, qualifying them for the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships.
Assistant Coach: Gus Gymnopoulos
Gymnopoulos is the head coach of the senior boys' basketball team at Vaughan Secondary School, where he coached Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins.

The game tips off on Monday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. ET on TSN, live from the University of Toronto's Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
