The Blues held their own in the first half, trailing by only three at the half (47-44). The Rams broke the game open in the third, outscoring the Blues 28-17 to build a lead that would not diminish.
The Rams were led by Roshane Roberts and Ammanuel Diressa, who each notched 17 points. Four other Rams hit double digits in the victory. Kadeem Green had 13 points, while Filip Vujadinovic recorded 11 points. Adam Voll had 10 points, with Aaron Best added a double-double of 10 points and 10 boards in the win.
Toronto's Devin Johnson led all players with 19 points, while adding six boards and two assists. Forward Manny Sahota notched 12 points and five rebounds, with rookie guard Wilson Torres added 11 points in the loss.
With the win, Ryerson improves to 14-1, while the Blues move to 5-10.
The Rams will visit the Guelph Gryphons on Wednesday. Tip off is set for 8 p.m.
