CIS TOP TEN TUESDAY: Badger wrestling tops the men's and women's polls heading into CIS championships
The CIS meet is set for Friday and Saturday at the University of New Brunswick. The Brock women are going for their third straight team banner, while the Alberta Golden Bears are defending champs in men’s competition.
The CIS men’s and women’s volleyball championships are also on the schedule this week in Calgary (Thursday-Saturday) and Regina (Friday-Sunday), respectively.
All CIS championship events are webcast live on www.CIS-SIC.tv.
In other national rankings this week, Windsor (women’s basketball), Carleton (men’s basketball), Alberta (men’s hockey), UBC (women’s swimming), Toronto (men’s swimming), Calgary (women’s track & field) and York (men’s track & field) all hold on to the pole position.
Guelph joins York in a tie for first place in men’s track and field.
The CIS winter championship season got under way last weekend with UBC (women) and Toronto (men) successfully defending their team titles.
