Special Teams: Michael Domagala, Carleton Ravens
The Carleton Ravens went down to the wire in their win against the Queen’s Gaels, and kicker Michael Domagala was an important figure in the team’s ultimate victory.
Domagala, now a two-time OUA Special Teams Player of the Week, accounted for a very important 12 points in the Ravens 42-39 2OT win. He kicked things off with a rouge point to open the scoring, before connecting on a 40-yard field goal to push the Ravens lead to four at the time. Domagala would follow suit in the second half with another rouge, followed by a 26-yarder to bring Carleton’s cushion to 19.
Four made extra point attempts brought his total points for the game to 12, and along with some crafty work in the endzone to deny Queen’s any would-be game-winning scoring in overtime, Domagala once again proved to be a key figure for the now 3-1 Ravens.
