Luke Korol has been all over the field for the Gryphon defence in 2018 and his most recent performance was his best yet.
The Gryphons' 5th-year linebacker racked up a season-high 16.5 tackles while helping the No. 10-ranked Gryphons earn a 26-20 road win over the Windsor Lancers. Among these lofty totals were three tackles for a loss. The Dundas, Ontario native helped seal the win by recording his second sack of the day on Windsor's final possession of the ball game, earning the Gryphons their second win of the season.
Korol's outstanding 2018 campaign has him leading the conference in tackles per game (9.6) while serving as the central figure in the second-ranked defence in the OUA, limiting opponents to just 16.5 points per game.
