PROFILE
The fourth year defensive back had a breakout season with the Warriors last season and looks to continue his dominance in the back field again in 2016.
Jordan Hoover led the CIS in interceptions with five and has turned heads across the CFL after being invited to the 14th annual CIS East-West Bowl. He's a competitive, agile and fierce competitor who lays it all on the line each and every time he puts on the black and gold.
"We are expecting another big season from Jordan as our leader on defence," said head coach Chris Bertoia. "He's quick, strong and has the ability to read plays before they unfold."
Hoover joined the Warriors in 2013 and has consistently been the leader in tackles and breakups and has evolved into a core piece of the Warriors back field. If the opposition is running a passing play there's a good chance #24 will be involved on the defensive side.
Hoover will hope to make an immediate impact on Sunday, August 28 as the Warriors open their season on the road against the York Lions. Waterloo returns home on Labour Day for a clash with the Ottawa Gee Gees at Warrior Field.
