After a tight first three quarters of the game, it appeared that the victor would be identified in the final minutes of the match tonight at the Goldring Centre where Laurentian faced off against the University of Toronto. Unfortunately, the victor would not be the Voyageurs this time around, as they fell 80–77 in their rematch against the Varsity Blues.

With leading scorer Kadre Gray out of the lineup tonight, Laurentian would need to find a way to fill this scoring void. Though experienced players Anthony Iacoe and David Aromolaran filled the backcourt roles impressively, contributing 24 points and 17 points respectively, this was not enough for the Voyageurs as they collected their 6th loss of the season and 4th in a row.

Aside from Iacoe and Aromolaran , another notable contribution for the Voyageurs came from senior forward Nelson Yengue who added 15 points and 7 rebounds of his own.

Top scorer for the Varsity Blues was Evan Shadkami with 18 points.

The Voyageurs will look to end their regular season on a high note tomorrow evening when they face-off against the Ryerson Rams for the second time this season, this time at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. Tip off is at 8pm.
