RMC 41 - 17 Toronto Sunday - 2018/09/09

Toronto, ON - The Paladins (1-1) topped the Varsity Blues (0-2) on Sunday evening in Toronto, claiming their first win of the season 41-17 on the road.

RMC controlled the match from early on, with rookie Glenn Butler kicking a penalty to open the scoring, followed by a try from Nathan Torrie and a successful conversion from Butler.

Faiyaz Lokhandwala put Toronto on the board just before halftime.

RMC was ahead 15-5 at the break.

The Paladins continued to dominate in the second half, scoring four more tries.

Butler's stoundout performance included one try, one penalty kick, and four conversions for 16 points. Jacob Venne finished the day with 10 points from two tries.

With the first win of the season under their belts, RMC will look to continue their winning ways on Reunion Weekend when they host at 3:00 PM
